In July 1899, Wilbur established wing warping to the test by creating and flying a biplane kite with a five-foot (1.5m) wingspan. When the wings happened warped or twisted, one end of the wings produced more lift and the other endless lift. The unlike lift performed these wings tilt, or bank: the edge with more lift rose, while the opposite end dropped, making a turn in the direction of the lower end. The warping was led by four cords attached to the kite, which pointed to two sticks held by the kite flyer, who dipped them in opposite directions to twist the wings. In 1900 the brothers traveled to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, to start their manned gliding experiments. In his response to Wilbur’s first message, Octave Chanute had recommended the mid-Atlantic coast for its constant breezes and soft sandy grounding surface. Wilbur also inquired and examined U.S. Weather Bureau data, and determined on Kitty Hawk after obtaining information from the government meteorologist posted there. Kitty Hawk, although separated, was closer to Dayton than additional places Chanute had suggested, counting California and Florida. The spot also presented them privacy from reporters, who had turned the 1896 Chanute tests at Lake Michigan into something of a spectacle. Chanute toured them in camp each season from 1901 to 1903 and observed gliding experiments, but not the powered flights. In 1903, the brothers formed the powered Wright Flyer I, utilizing their selected material for construction, spruce, a durable and lightweight wood, and Jewel of the West muslin for exterior coverings. They also designed and carved their own wooden propellers, and had a purpose-built gasoline engine fabricated in their bicycle shop. the kind of material you would find now at a junk yard since you have my friends comany these days and they are great reading

One of the most critical moments happened On 11 February 1990, a saint named Nelson Mandela is discharged from Victor Verster Prison after having spent 27 years in jail. Four years later, Mandela is chosen the first black President of South Africa. His administration faces tremendous difficulties in the post-Apartheid era, incorporating rampant poverty and crime, and Mandela is especially concerned about racial boundaries between black and white South Africans, which could lead to intensity. The ill will which both groups continue towards each other is seen even in his contract detail where similarities between the established white officers, who had defended Mandela’s predecessors, and the black ANC increases to the security detail, are freezing and marked by shared distrust. While frequenting a game among the Springboks, the country’s rugby union team, and England, Mandela recognizes that the blacks in the arena are encouraging for England, as the mostly-white Springboks express prejudice and apartheid in their minds; he notes that he did the same while incarcerated on Robben Island. Recognizing that South Africa is set to receive the 1995 Rugby World Cup in one year’s time, Mandela prompts a meeting of the recently black-dominated South African Sports Commission to support the Springboks. He then talks with the leader of the Springboks rugby team, François Pienaar, and indicates that a Springboks success in the World Cup will unite and inspire the country. Mandela also shares with François a British poem, “Invictus”, that had motivated him during his time in the penitentiary. François and his teammates practice. Many South Africans, both black and white, difficulty that rugby will join a nation torn apart by approximately 50 years of racial tensions, as for many blacks, especially the radicals, the Springboks symbolize white supremacy. Both Mandela and Pienaar, though, stand solidly behind their theory that the game can successfully unite the South African country. Things begin to change as the players interact with the fans and start a friendship with them. Something like this can make the difference like companies towing car in poor negihborhoods to help people in troubling times. Continue reading

One of the more notable people in the last century is a man who moved a mountain with stone resolve and belief at his back to support him. Dashrath Manjhi ran away from his residence at a young age and served at Dhanbad’s coal mines. He returned to his village and espoused Phalguni Devi. While traversing Gehlour hills to bring him lunch, she slipped and severely injured herself, which ultimately led to her demise. Manjhi was profoundly depressed and that very night determined to carve a way through the Gehlour hills so that his community could have an easier passage to medical attention. He cut a path 360-feet-long (110 m), 25-feet-deep (7.6 m) in areas and 30-feet-wide (9.1 m) to make a road through the stones in Gehlour hill. He quoted that, When I started hammering the hill, people called me a lunatic, but that steeled my resolve. He concluded the work in 22 years (1960–1983). This path reduced the distance separating the Atri and Wazirganj quarters of the Gaya region from 55 km to 15 km. Though ridiculed for his efforts, he has made living easier for people of Gehlour village. While he had cut a protected mountain, which is a crime under Indian Wildlife security act, his great determination remains an inspiration. Later, Manjhi said, Though most villagers insulted me at first, there were quite a few who lent me aid later by giving me food and helping me buy my tools. He never received any appreciation from the Indian Government for his accomplishment, just a state burial, after he passed away, in 2007. “What I did is there for all to see. When God is with you, nothing can stop you,” Dasrath Manjhi once said. “I am not afraid of any punishment from any government department for my work nor am I interested in any honour from the government.” It took him 22 years to fulfil his self-imposed task, but it granted him immortality…

A man who followed these conceptions fell by a monster known as a Magog that used him for means to procreate. During the means while being paralyzed a moment of clarity happened that the universe presents possibilities in particular ways, now all that mattered is to pass on what he know, but only a beast was around.
